Bevel Issue: Only Half-Rounded Edges

Title: Bevel Issue: Only Half-Rounded Edges

Hi everyone, I’m encountering a strange issue with the Bevel tool (Ctrl + B) in Blender. When I try to bevel a set of edges, the result isn’t symmetrical: instead of a full and balanced rounding on both sides, only one side gets rounded while the other remains flat.

What I’ve tried so far:

Checked and recalculated normals (Recalculate Outside and Flip Normals). Used Merge by Distance to ensure no duplicate vertices. Applied all transforms (Ctrl + A > Apply All Transforms). Used the Bevel modifier instead of the manual tool. Cleaned the geometry using Mesh > Clean Up. Experimented with Bevel settings (Segments, Profile, Width). The issue persists. Even with a new object, I get the same problem. I’m using Blender 4.2.

Here’s a link to my file if anyone wants to check it out: My File Link.

I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions. Thanks in advance! 😊
