Hey,
I’m completely new to the game, so sorry if this is in the wrong section or something.
We have a Docker service using a seperate mongodb container to store data.
Both services save their files to the same directory, MongoDB in the “mongo†folder, the other one in a folder besides it.
For simplicity reasons we use Ubuntu Desktop to let non technical employees access basic functionality over rdp.
Also for simplicity I set up the Ubuntu Desktop “Backup†utility to back up the described directory to a NAS.
This works great, except for the “mongo†folder.
This folder seems to be inaccessible to the utility because of permission conflicts.
In the properties window it says it belongs to “user #999†but everyone should be able to access the files. (see screenshot)
Due to the options being greyed out I can’t change it without root permissions and I fear breaking the DB when doing so with sudo.
Is there a possibility to make the folder accessible to the backup utility?
Thanks in advance and greetings
Luis
